We’re here for the wiggly puppies, the curious kittens, the anxious adolescents, and the dignified seniors.
As a privately owned practice, we don’t answer to a corporate entity. Our focus is purely on your pets and their wellbeing. We’re not trying to upsell you on unnecessary services or meet quotas. We’re just trying to help your pet feel better and live longer.
Founded in 1980 by Dr. James Swart and helmed by Dr. Ivan Metzger for decades, Dr. Elizabeth Johnson took over the practice in 2021. The team at Jermantown Animal Hospital is proud have been part of the Fairfax and Northern Virginia community for over 40 years and are honored to care for your pets.
